He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Penna; his son Nick Penna (Sarah); his grandchildren, Richard Clayton Penna and Nickole Marie Penna; his great grandchildren, Carmine Mark Ray Penna and Ira Lee Nicholas Penna; his siblings, William John Penna (Denise) of Las Vegas, NV, Catherine Ann Penna of Oakdale, NY and David Vincent Penna of Griffin, GA; and his niece Tasha Marie Penna.
