It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Schott of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Schott to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Schott and Julia Schott; his brothers, Michael Jr. and Jim; and his pet Mattie Mae.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Jennifer (Tom Klein), Sara (Kevin Reisenbichler), Derek Schott of Berlin, NH and Benjamin (Lisa Schott); and his grandchildren, Elliott Klein, Annie Klein, Julia Klein, Oliver Reisenbichler, Sam Reisenbichler and Emmett Schott. He is also survived by father and even more so a Papaw and was widely adored by the friends of his children and grandchildren.

“Loved Uncle Dick. He was always quiet but always made his feeling known in his own way. The one thing I do know is how he loved Linda and his children. He was very proud of all of them.
