It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wayne Stowell of Springfield, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stowell and Eula Mae Stowell (McKinnon); and his sister Patsy Petree (Stowell). He is survived by: his wife Christine; his siblings, Charles and Barbara Scott (Stowell); his sons, Timothy and Dale Wayne Stowell; and his stepchildren, Victoria Batchelder, Charity Mutert, Bethany Nowowiejski, Faith Merlin and Nathaniel Clum. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Convoy of Hope, Ozarks Food Harvest or to the Alzheimer's Association.
