He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie and Mabel (McMullin); his wife Barbara (Conner); his sisters, Doris (Popejoy) and JoAnn (Bills); and his great grandchild Zayden Michael Thomas.

He is survived by: his children, Ridley Jr. (Nida), Leslie (Sheri), Kathy, John (Rhonda) and Lori Ireland (John); and his sister Jane. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
