She was predeceased by: her parents, Kinosuke Kubo and Miye Kubo; and her husband Eric Nitta. She is survived by: her children, Grace Thiel (Jeff) of Wisconsin, Diane Nitta (David Coleman) and Don Nitta of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Hana Sapp, Brenna Buchanan (Kyle), Corbin Sapp (Krystle) and Brent Thiel. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
