He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Weaver Scherff and Anna Scherff (Grossglauser); his sons, Bradley and Roger; his daughter-in-law Cheryl Scherff; his wife Eleanor Hert; his children, Brad Scherff (Tracy), Albert Scherff (Sonja) and Patricia Cooper (Gary); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Kelly (Alex), Kryshia (Eric), Brittany (Mike), Candace, Albert Jr. (Maria), Marvin, Madi, Kaci (Grant), Mitch (Ashley) and Melissa (Brandon). He was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren.
