He was predeceased by: his adoptive father George (Marjorie Hoffman); and his sister Ann. He is survived by: his sister Carol; his children, Jennifer Melton (Russell), Becky Bass (Brian) and Duane Hoffman (Amy); and his grandchildren, Carla Sims (Austin), Adam Melton (Jessica), Lauren Coffie (Jace), Landon Bass (Abby), Brookelynn Bass, Stephen Hoffman (Samantha), Matthew Hoffman (Bailey), Timothy Hoffman (Eme), Malachi Hoffman (Aubree) and Haliana Hoffman. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the One Community Church (355 North Missouri Boulevard, Rogersville, MO 65742). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
