Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Swanson and Jewel Swanson; and his brother Steven Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Swanson (Counts); his children, Charles Davis, Chrisha Swanson, Jennifer Riegle (Clint) and Jessica Burns; and his nephew Steve Swanson. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). The military honors was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
