She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard Karnes; and her parents, Orville Thomas Gearhart and Mary Maxine Gearhart (Bunch). She is survived by: her son Matthew; her daughter-in-law Natalie Steinbach; and her sisters, Julie Klyn and Maxine Gearhart of Iowa.
