She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Dean and Lela Ruth McLain (Baker); her husband Norvil Gamel; her daughter Ellen; her grandchildren, April, Lakeisha, Bobby and David; and her siblings, Belva, Orville, Lester and Joyce.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Oaks (Charles), Debbie Mitchell, Raymond Loman, Jr. and Judy Johnson (Richard); and her granddaughter Jeanette (Kemar). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; as well numerous nieces, nephews.
