She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Carsten; and her granddaughter McKenna Johnston. She is survived by: her daughters, Meredith Johnston (David) and Anitra Whitlinger (Jeff); her grandchildren, Delilah and Lucas Johnston; and her stepchildren, Jerry Carsten Jr. (Vickie), Jackie Carsten, Carrie Hinkle (Doug), Sheila Liddle (Todd) and Pamela Ward (Michael). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Amity Cemetery or the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Sandra K. Carsten.
