He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Horsch and Mary Horsch (Heimerman). He is survived by: his wife Wilma (Lies); his children, Sally, Steve (Michell) and Laurie; his grandchildren, Tom (Heather), Georgia and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Vladamir, Novalie and Stella.

In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Friends of the Garden to support the Woodland Garden.
