He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Andrew Smith and Loretta Grace Smith. He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Pesce (David), Nathaniel Smith (Helena) and Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Marin and Makennah; and his siblings, Joseph A. Smith II and Laura Cleo Sedoryk.
