He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Smoot and Marjorie Smoot. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sons, Chris (Anne) and Michael; his grandchildren, Jackob, Steven, Lucas, Rose, Kaleb and Gavin; his siblings, Jim (Kim), Cheryl (Mark) and Susan (Ron); and his in-laws, Bruce, Joan, Debbie, Marsha, Kathy and Merri Beth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
