He was predeceased by: his parents, George Joseph "Joe" Horton and Grace Horton (Henderson); and his sisters, Donna Pendarvis and Lynetta Stracener. He is survived by: his wife Connie Horton; his children, Breanna Horton, Kori Murillo Ortiz, Brenda Horton, Stacey Gulley (John), Carol Long (Tom), Robert Horton (Tonnie) and Curtis Goller; his siblings, Royce Horton (Pat) and Karen Baremore; his brother-in-law John Stracener; and his mother-in-law Judith Todd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holden Cremation & Funeral Service (8058 State Hwy 14, Sparta, MO 65753). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
