With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan L. Cohen (Springfield, Missouri), born in Manchester, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2024 at the age of 63. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Susan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Hughes Mitchell Jr. (Boutilier) of Maine; her sister Colleen L. Charron of Chaplin, CT; her aunt Mary L. Botting of Houlton, ME; and her uncles, John W. Boutilier and Gary Boutilier.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry L. Cohen of Springfield, MO, Ronald J. Cohen (Juliette) of Boothbay Harbor, ME and Sharon M. Cohen (Frederick W. Doak Jr.) of New Gloucester, ME; her uncle Duane J. Boutilier-Baxter of Woodsville, NH; her brothers, Michael V. Mitchell (Betty) of Lansing, KS and Duane E. Mitchell (Christina) of Topeka, KS; her brother-in-law Dennis W. Charron of Chaplin, CT; and her sisters, Kathy J. Benway of Willimantic, CT and Elaine V. Mitchell of Haverhill, NH.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many special friends.
