With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Suzanne Marie Hurst of Springfield, Missouri, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shomers and Marie Shomers of Parkersburg, WV; her husband Raymond "Gene" Hurst of Springfield, MO; and her brother Michael Shomers of Jacksonville, FL.. She is survived by: her children, Becky Edwards (Gale) and Joseph Hurst of Springfield, MO; her grandchildren, MaryBeth Hurst, Justin Hurst (Elizabeth) and Stephanie Neuberger (Brad); and her siblings, Paul Shomers (Lee) of North Carolina and MaryJo Airhart (Steve) of Georgia. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson.
