He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Howell and Mildred McElroy Howell; and his stepson Rick Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Betty Johnson Howell; his siblings, Betty Ann, Donna, Susie, Joannie, Mary, Harriet and John; his sons, Kenney Howell and Jeffery Howell; and his stepchildren, Josh, Gail Skalicky (Al), Kevin Johnson (Sandy) and Christy Hodges (Garry). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
