It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Patrick Cooney (Springfield, Missouri), born in Fort Scott, Kansas, who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Robert and Marianne Cooney (Porlier); and his sisters, Kathleen Price and Anna Marie Odneal. He is survived by: his close friend English Setter; his pets, Beau and Babe; his wife Carolou Cooney; his children, Jeff (Debbie Cooney) and Kim (Patrick Raynor); his grandchildren, Ian Raynor, Andrew Cooney and Alexandra Cooney; his great grandchild Emeri Mourning; and his brother Bob Cooney. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
