She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Vire and Jessie Vire; her spouse Dooley Hefner; her sister Charlene; and her brother-in-law Ray Benton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lesa Haase (John) and Lori Inman (Allen); and her sibling's children, Mike Benton (Cindy) and Tammy Brewer (Larry). She is also survived by four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
