Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia DeMott Faucett of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 20, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward George DeMott and Neva Blanche Reynolds DeMott; her siblings, Violet Counts, Adrian DeMott and Paul DeMott; her children, Joseph Ray Faucett and Barbara Lue Holcomb Green; her granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Anna Holcomb; and her great grandchild Karis Rose Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Charles Faucett (Leah), David Allen Faucett (Pamela) and Beverly Sue Schmitz (John); and her grandchildren, Kimburly Logan (Keith), Stephen Jr. Faucett (Monica), Elisa Hewlett (Nick), Heather Wallace (Todd), Ericka Sherrer (Brandon), Grant Holcomb (Kazumi), John Schmitz, Joseph Holcomb (Becky), Matthew Faucett (Jennica), Joshua Holcomb (Chelsea), Terry Green, Hannah Fox (Tyler), Mallory Schisler (Ben) and Timothy Green (Aleda). She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family have asked to honor Maxine's love and desire for others to hear about the love of God that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Arnold, Missouri to support families they have sent out into the world to spread the gospel; some of which are Maxine's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
