He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Bartee and Thelma Bartee. He is survived by: his brother Dr. Neale K. Bartee (Elaine); his sons, Clark (Odette) and Fleetwood (Kathryn); and his granddaughters, Shields and Sierra.
