It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Clayton Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, born in Boaz, Alabama, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Johnson and Cora Mae Johnson; his wife Jennie Johnson; and his siblings, Martha Golden and Hansel Johnson.

He is survived by: his children, Ted Wise (Gail), Dwight Salts, Brent Johnson (Sandy), Tammie (Kerry Martins) and Scott Johnson (Karie); and his sisters, Bobbie Cruse and Linda Burns. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
