He was predeceased by: his parents, John Conley and Essie Conley; his siblings, Mac Conley and Shirley; and his son Tony.

He is survived by: his spouse Vernene Crocker of Springfield; his children, Patricia of Springfield and John (Julia) of Bolivar; and his grandchildren, Heather (Justin) of Springfield and Brandon (Sarah) of Michigan.
