He was predeceased by: his parents, James Victor and Mildred Farrell (Johnson); his son Russell Farrell; his daughter-in-law Kimi Farrell; and his siblings, Jim, Tom, Charles and Rosemary.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Eagleburger; his son Ronnie Farrell (Lorna); his grandchildren, Amy Harvey (Dean), Bailey Keltner (Devin), Ben Farrell (Kendra) and Clay Farrell (Dayana); his great grandchildren, Zach Harvey, Brantley, Addilyn Keltner, Maylee and Hallie Farrell; his brother David Farrell (Brenda); and his sisters-in-law, Kay Farrell and Janet Farrell.
