He is survived by: his son Dr. Rich Hardie (Cynthia Kirkpatrick Hardie); his grandsons, William Hardie III of San Diego, California and Andrew Hardie of San Diego, California; his daughter Cynthia Hardie Sharp (Frank Sharp) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Meredith Sharp of Oxford and John Sharp of Denver, Colorado; and his nieces, Kathleen Stewart Dello Stritto of Kenner, Louisianna and Ann Stewart Wagner (Kevin Wagner) of Beaumont, Texas. He is also survived by grand-dogs, countless friends.
