We are sad to announce that, on August 13, 2022, at the age of 70, William Wayne Johnson (Springfield, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Everett Johnson; and his sister Janice Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Mary Jane Appleberry Johnson of Lebanon, Missouri; his wife Denise Rifenburg; his children, Amy Mattia (Nathan) of St. Louis, Summer Waheed (Ryan) of Holly Ridge, Heather Steinmark (Steven) of Lebanon, Missouri and Dereck Johnson (Nate) of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Emerson, Huxley, Alayna, Xander, Noah and River; and his brothers, Bobby Johnson of Lebanon, Missouri and Cecil Johnson (Edith) of Lebanon, Missouri. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and donations may be made at the funeral home.
