It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelma (Buffalo) Taylor of Springfield, Missouri, born in Polk, Missouri, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Abel and Loah Abel; and her siblings, Carl Abel, Vaden Anderson, Eva Grace, Maxine Adams, Lucille Manes, Paul Abel, Emma Lee Manes, Wesley B. Abel and Bertha Marie Deragowski.
She is survived by: her husband Hershal Leon Taylor; her daughter Roxie Castro of Springfield, MO; her grandchildren, Tosca and Chuck; her daughter Trish Goddard of Afton, OK; her sister Zona Meadors of Bolivar, Three; and her siblings-in-law, Rosalee Taylor, Juanita (Al Woolery), Joan (Kenny Baker) and Jack Taylor (Gail Don). She is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, Great- nieces, Cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
