He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Kerwin and Mildred Kerwin (Boedeker); his wife Arda Swinford; his brothers, Robert and James; and his siblings-in-law, Darrel Swinford, Mary Swinford and Carol Ann Kerwin.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Kerwin (Julie) of Platte City, MO, Alan Kerwin (Shannon) of Ravenwood, MO, Susan McMillen (Brad) of Pelzer, SC and Amy Messner (Richard) of Stanberry, MO; his grandchildren, Justin Kerwin, Hannah Kerwin, Alex Kerwin (Jolene), Ashley Henggeler (Matt), Kaity Holtman (Matt), Collin McMillen (Amanda), Tucker McMillen (Cassidy), Maggie McMillen, Logan McMillen, Ryan Messner (Shelby) and Benjamin Messner; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Kerwin, Marilyn Alldredge (Bob), Eva Herl, Jim Swinford (Sandy) and Kenny Swinford (Susy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
