He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Nickell; his grandparents, William and Goldie Marcusson; his sister Tammy Ann Nickell; his grandparents, Gay and Jessie Nickell; and his foster sister Margie Madden.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Boyer of Amity, MO.; his children, Dr. Jason Nickell (Stacey Nickell), Arianne Nickell Kopf (Gary Kopf) and Dr. Jordan Nickell (Lauren Hamil); his grandchildren, Brooke, Will and Paige; and his brother Dr. Michael Nickell.
