He is survived by: his wife Charlene Hutson Staves; his children, James Staves III of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Cassie Martin of Parker and Samantha Mangrum of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Hughes (Bob) of Stark City, Cindy McCullah (Matt) of Cassville, Nycole Tiner (Jerry) of Rocky Comfort, Missouri and J. R. Beeson (Lori).
