Wayne E Sanders Obituary
Wayne E. Sanders, age 84, of Steele, Missouri passed away on July 3, 2026 at Great River Medical Center. He was born on December 26, 1941 in Mississippi to Leroy and Ida Mae (Franklin) Sanders. Wayne was a member of the First Baptist Church in Steele Missouri. He enjoyed hosting family barbecues, fishing, and spending time with family. He was an animal lover and loved his dog T-bone.
Survivors include; the love of his life: Della Sanders of Steele, Missouri; one daughter: Jetty Dunham of Steele, Missouri; one granddaughter: April Lanier of Steele, Missouri; one grandson: Ryan Dunham of Steele, Missouri; five great grandchildren: Kaylee Lanier, Kora Lanier, Abbigail Dunham, Arya Dunham, Brandon Lanier, Jr.; one great great granddaughter: Ruthlynn Grace Chism; one great great grandchild on the way; one sister: Annette Goss; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Leroy and Ida Mae (Franklin) Sanders; one daughter: Norma Jean Sanders; four brothers: Percy Sanders, Monroe Sanders, Vivian Sanders, Clay Sanders; two sisters: Carrie Lewis and Helen Osborn; three nephews: P.J. Sanders, Rufus Sanders, Allen Darrel Sanders.
Those to honor as pallbearers will be Marcus Southern, Justin Sanders, Ethan Southern, Brandon Lanier, Jr., and Ryan Dunham.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby king officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Bassett Cemetery in Bassett, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
