With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Ed Stites of Steelville, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Stites and Dovie Oxendine Stites; his siblings, Cecil Stites, Lane Stites (Deloris), Bob Stites, Bill Stites and Ruby Stites; his great grandchild Bryer Mason; his parents-in-law, Warren and Argie Gibbs Parrett; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Parrett.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Parrett; his children, Heath Stites (Amanda) of Desloge, MO and Stacy Mason (Ronnie) of Steelville, MO; his stepchildren, Christopher Briggs (Leah) of Hallsville, MO and Deborha Mason of Steelville, MO; his grandchildren, Philip Stites, Abigail Hogan, Carter Mason, Cami Mason, Sierra Briggs, Warren Mason, Joshua Mason (Mickinze Koppelmann), Zachariah Mason and Colten Mason (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Hayden, Logan, Payten and Sophia Mason; his sister Shirley Plank (Mike) of Steelville, MO; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Parrett (Becky), Gary Parrett (Carolyn) and Joe Parrett (Susan Turner).
Memorials may be given to the Steelville Food Pantry or Cherryville Baptist Cemetery.
