It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Gladine Sutherland of Steelville, Missouri, who passed away on September 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carman Lloyd Halbert and Mary Lee Halbert; her grandparents, Walter, Lily Halbert, Ferd and Bertha Waller; and her brother Carman "Frog" Halbert.

She is survived by : her daughters, Veneta Wadlow (Andrew) of Granite City, IL, Raye Lynn Sutherland of Doe Run, MO and Kathleen Phillips (Chad) of Milstadt, IL; her siblings, Roger "Rod" Halbert (Lena) of Cuba, MO, Rodney Halbert (Lynn) of Rolla, MO and Joan Summers (John) of Cedar Hill, MO; her sister-in-law Wanda Halbert of Steelville, MO; her grandchildren, Hannah Asbeck (Jordan) of Granite City, IL, Taylor Sutherland of Florissant, MO, Mikayla Hagan of St. Louis, MO, Hallie Hagan of St. Louis, MO and Randal "Gage" Phillips of Milstadt, IL; and her great grandchild Benjamin Asbeck of Granite City, IL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
