He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Madison Blake and Celeste Ethel Blake; his grandparents, Model T. That and Model Ts; his parents-in-law, Vernon and Carrie Helms; his children, Mary Louise Blake (Ender Toro), Terry Leon Bryant and Nancy Gale Bryant; his siblings-in-law, Warren Helms and Betty Hinch; his grandchildren, Jimmie Alumbaugh, Jr. and Malissa Blake Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Peters, Ryan James Bruner, Ira Gibson, Jr. and Michael Bruner.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Blake of Steelville, MO; his children, Elizabeth Blake Bruner of Viburnum, MO, Richard "Rick" Matthew Blake of Viburnum, MO, James Kevin Blake Graham of Viburnum, MO, Linda Diana Alumbaugh (Jimmie) of Brinktown, MO and Keith Henry Blake of Black, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Nancy and Joey Eranst of Affton, MO. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials were suggested to the Steelville Historical Society or Steelville Trail of Tears Remembrance Committee.
