He was predeceased by : his parents, Aiery Asbell and Gertrude Asbell; his wife Arlene; his former life partner Josephine Flach; and his brother Dean.
He is survived by : his children, Mark Asbell (David) of Minneapolis, MN and Michelle Schultz (Louis) of Stewartsville, MO; his grandchildren, Erin Heston (Jake) of Grimes, IA, Brent Schultz (Morgan) of Liberty, MO and Hunter Schultz of St Joseph, MO; and his great grandchildren, Kal, Kaison and Jax. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
