As Mary Katherine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Katherine. Though Mary Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Ussery and Leona Ussery. She is survived by: her children, Edward Smith, Teresa Curtis and Kevin Cox; her daughter-in-law Diane Mebrey; and her grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Smith, Madelyn Smith, Cheyenne Colson and Michael Colson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Robinson Cemetery (11500 US-54, Collins, MO 64738).
