He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Gosnell and Pauline Gosnell (Barnes); his sister Elsie Mae Patterson; and his wife Trudy Gosnell. He is survived by : his son Barry Gosnell (Amy); his granddaughter Melissa Summers (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Avery and Jaxson Summers; his stepdaughter Stacey Gilkey (George); his stepgrandchildren, Lindsey (Steven), Jesse, Chayce and Jake; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bentley and Rylee.
