Ida Jeanette Painter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 62, Ida Jeanette Painter of Stoutsville, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Lowell Thomas and Arvada Maloney Thomas; and her brothers, David Thomas, Daniel Thomas and James Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, William Thomas Painter (Mandy) of Monroe City, MO and Alicia Smith (Andrew) of Alma, MO; her grandchildren, Macy, Josiah, Jordyn Painter and Grady Smith; and her siblings, Billy Thomas, Jr. (Pam) of Beattyville, KY, Jacqueline Lance (Shannon) of Winchester, KY and Tammy Evans (Larry) of Beattyville, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe Co. Cancer Supporters.
