With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dannie Ray Hontz of Stover, Missouri, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dannie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dannie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dannie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Jewell and Mary Lee Hontz (Cox); and his siblings, Joyce Hontz, Guy Wayne Hontz and Samuel Otis Hontz.
He is survived by: his sister Victoria Lee Holloway of Stover. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
