James Dean Hayward Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Dean Hayward of Strafford, Missouri, born in Neosho, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "JW" Wesley Hayward and Irene "Bea" Beatrice Wilson; his brothers, Jackie Hayward and Alan Hayward; his wife Patricia Hayward (Mullens); and his grandchildren, Michael and Lori Blankenship.
He is survived by: his friend Richard Dodd; his sister JoAnn Daniels (Hayward); his son Timothy Hayward; his daughter-in-law Vicki; his daughter Kathryn Blankenship; his son-in-law Michael; and his grandsons, Austin Hayward (Kacie, JR), Curtis Rowden and Craig Rowden (Veronica). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in James' memory.
