She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudia Potter and Billy Potter; her husband Richard Walker; her parents-in-law, Herbert and Edna Walker; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Price and Peggy Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Walker Duffel and Stacy Walker Soden (Brett Soden); her grandchildren, Karly Wilson (Brady), Seth Soden and Christa Duffel; and her siblings, Gary Potter (Charlotte), Karen Murphy (Charles Marlin) and Tim Potter (Shawn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Together We Build Project at High Street Baptist Church, 900 N. Eastgate Avenue, Springfield, MO 65802.
