With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Vincent Bauman of Sugar Creek, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Iris Leiker; his parents, Harold Bauman and Lucia Bauman; his grandparents, Frank, Florence Bauman, Vincent and Lucia Komadina; and his sister Martha Joann.
He is survived by: his wife Orvella Bauman; his son Kevin Vanbibber (Sarah); his grandchildren, Ellie Leiker, Carter Van Bibber and Clayton Vanbibber; and his siblings, Lucia Dhooge (Cam), Tim Bauman and Tom Bauman (Diane).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
