The memory of Alta E. Leonberger of Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on September 20, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cooley and Gladys Cooley (Ross); her husband Burl Leonberger; her children, Wendle Leonberger and Diana Jackson (Robert); and her children-in-law, Trish Leonberger and Jerry Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Burl Leonberger Jr. of Saint Louis, Delores Ray of Cuba, Patricia Sifuentes (Clarence) of Foley and William Leonberger of Union, Missouri; and her sisters, Martha Stover, Ruby Bruce and Maxine Logsdon. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great – grandchildren; and four great – great – grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
