He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray "Jake" Halmick and Elsie Halmick (Teeter); his sister Elizabeth Anne; his parents-in-law, Tauno and Dorothy Jarvinen; and his siblings-in-law, Sarah Dunn (Russell), Barry Jarvinen, Dale Sickendick and Dennis Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Halmick of Sullivan, Missouri; his sons, Jamie Halmick (Christie) of Sullivan, Caleb Halmick (Jamie) of Saint Clair, Sam Halmick (Angela) of Sullivan and Blaine Halmick of Sullivan, Missouri; his grandchildren, Ashley, Emily, Loren, Adia, Grace, Grant, Gavin, Sawyer Halmick and Logan Kennedy; his sisters, Karen Gardner and Kathy Sickendick; and his sister-in-law Kathy Bailey (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080).
