Family, friends, and acquaintances remember David for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann Armistead (Smith) and David Armistead; and his brother James Armistead. He is survived by: his wife Karen Armistead of Woodland Lakes; his daughter Lynn Davina Neal of Woodland Lakes; his grandchildren, Christopher James Gauvain II and Maddilyn Elizabeth-Ann Gauvain; and his sister Kimberly Kravich (Richard) of New York. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Woodland Lakes Community Center (730 W Main St, Sullivan, MO 63080).
