It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Peterson of Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. F. "Pete" Peterson and Alma Peterson (Kappelmann); his aunts and uncles, Jahn, Helen Peterson, Alice Althage (Karl), Thelma "Yippies" Schuenemeyer (George) and Lillian Zeugin (Glen); and his cousins, Karl "Allstar" Althage and Dean "Pig" Althage.
He is survived by: his daughter Olivia Bryan (Travis) of Sullivan, MO; his grandchildren, Trey Blankenship (Alexis Orick) of Cuba, MO, Kayden Bryan of Sullivan, Lakynn Koenig of Sullivan, Louella Bryan of Sullivan and Lyric Bryan of Sullivan; the mother of his child Tracy Peterson of Sullivan; and his cousins, Greg Althage of Sullivan, MO, Jeanne Oliver of Beaufort, MO, Jahn Schuenemeyer (Susan) of Holt Summit, MO, Laurie Schuenemeyer-Kimmel (David) of Union, MO, Tommy Schuenemeyer (Nancy) of Columbia, MO and Sharon Zeugin (Clark) of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (2149 Lutheran Church Rd, Beaufort, MO 63013).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Don Peterson Memorial Scholarship Fund.
