We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2024, at the age of 96, James D. Coffman of Sullivan, Missouri, born in Mountain Grove, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Coffman and Minnie Coffman (Raney); his wife Shirley Henry; his grandson Jason Coffman; his son-in-law Jonathan Roberts; and his siblings, Lester Coffman, Arvin Coffman, Melvin Coffman, Kenneth Coffman, Nadine Dake, Ethel Mae Owens, Audrey Davis, Doris Coffman and Owen Coffman.

He is survived by : his children, Debbie English (Tony English) of Nixa, MO, Sam Coffman (Terry) of Sullivan, Mary Roberts of Bourbon, MO and Sally Wilde of Bourbon, MO; his grandchildren, Jamin English (Hilary) of Macks Creek, MO, Laura Wirsig (Chad) of Colorado Springs, CO, Ashley Haupt (Pastor Tim Haupt) of Nixa, Jeremy Coffman of Sullivan, William Greenlee III of Sullivan, Andrea Barton (James) of Bourbon and Robert Wilde (Emily) of Sullivan; his great grandchildren, Grant, Ethan, Shelby, Jacob, Abby, Ben, Isaac, Susanna, Lexi, Shay, Logan, Harley, Patience, Kaylie, Skyler and Elijah; and his great great grandchildren, Grayson and Sonny. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, & other relatives.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (444 Beeman St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be given in Jim's memory to the Jason Coffman Memorial Fund for the Arts.
