He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simmerly and Dorothy Simmerly; and his sisters, Laura Simmerly and Sue Perkins. He is survived by: his children, Shondra Courtouise (Clayton) of Villa, Breann Simmerly (Jon Callahan) of Cuba, James "Joey" Simmerly (Stevi) of Cuba and Britni Simmerly (Javar Sidi) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandchildren, James, Chloe, Cara Courtouise, Hunter Simmerly, Annabelle Wallace, Owen Callahan, Marleigh, Kane, Leejay and Stetson Simmerly; and his siblings, Billy Simmerly (Angie) of Bourbon, Missouri and Regina Rogers of Poteau, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
