She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Northcutt and Cora Northcutt (Witt); her husbands, Robert "Bob" Pounds, Sr. and Ray Schatz; her siblings, Charles Northcutt, A. O. Northcutt, Ruth Hulsey, Edith Doemelt, Lucille Brizendine, Elsie Manion, Mildred Harms, Gertrude Miller and Minnie Heitkamp; and her stepdaughter Mary Ackerman (Schatz).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Pounds Jr. (Patti) of Sullivan, MO, Alan Pounds (Kellie) of Sullivan, MO and Evette Eickelmann (Fred) of Cuba, MO; her grandchildren, Kami Farrell (Todd) of Union, MO, Kori Zide (Matthew) of St. Louis, MO, Nichole Warren (David) of Branson, MO, Heather Looney (Nicholas) of Sarasota, FL and Ryan Eickelmann (Danielle Parliament) of Naples, FL; her great grandchildren, Augustus, Hollis, Judah, Soren, Kaleb, Keeley and Poppy; her brother Calvin Northcutt of St. James, MO; her nieces and nephews, Jirae, Jabel, Ragnar, Blaze Schatz and Zachary Ackerman (Amanda); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn, Madison and Quinn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given in Peggy's memory to a Lasting Legacy Fund of Temple Baptist Church or to The Gideons International.
